◎ Refractory castable is a granular or powdery material prepared by mixing refractory aggregate and refractory powder according to a certain ratio and adding an appropriate amount of binder.
◎ Refractory castable has high fluidity and is a kind of amorphous refractory suitable for casting molding. Its plasticity is strong, wide range of applications, can be used according to the conditions of use to the material and binder to be selected, the optional material is clay, high aluminum, silicon, magnesium, magnesium chromium, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, zircon and so on.
◎ Refractory castable according to the conditions of use can be prepared acid-resistant or alkali-resistant castable, wear resistance and erosion resistance castable.
◎ Refractory castable can be directly cast into the lining body, or can be used by casting or shaking method into prefabricated blocks. Refractory castables are used as integral linings, often in combination with metal or ceramic anchors, or with stainless steel fiber reinforcement to improve mechanical and thermal shock resistance.
